The Topping D90 III Discrete balanced 1 bit DAC is from the same stable as the D90III using a 100% discrete digital/analogue I/V conversion circuit with ultra-low noise components. Here, the D to A conversion is performed by a PSRM module which it has one per channel, enabling conversion up to PCM 32bit 768kHz and DSD 512. This DAC also incorporates a Qualcomm QCC5125 Bluetooth 5.1 chip and a 12V trigger input and output on the rear panel. The high-end components found in the previous version, such as the Altera Max Ultra-low jitter CPLD clock, are also included. A 16-phase fully discrete PSRM module for each channel, the PSRM is a discrete 1 bit Dac and uses an advance architecture consisting of an ultra fast switching logic array and a precision voltage reference which is the core of this module.

The Topping D90 III Discrete also has a 10-band highly precise PEQ adjustment for personalised sound accessed through a desktop software to allow fine tuning and can save multiple profiles for easy of switching.
