Dekoni Audio has released the penultimate replacement pad for the AKG K701 series Headphones

Elite Velour 

By using a tighter velour Dekoni has managed to make the ear pad react more like a traditional leather or protein leather ear pad in that you don’t lose the bass frequencies or the isolation as seen with most velour ear pads. It still retains the comfort and coolness of velour. Paired with the slow rebound, high density memory foam Dekoni Audio is famous for they have created possibly the penultimate velour ear pad on the market today.

Sheepskin

A headphone pad made in a luxurious and supple Sheepskin. The Elite Ear Pad was designed with the discerning listener in mind as well as the casual listener who is looking for not only great sound but a great comfort.

Fenestrated Sheepskin

Dekoni Audio took their Elite Sheepskin line and found a way to make it even better. With precisely measured and cut holes this pad was designed to give a more true tone by providing a neutral sound absorption characteristic on the inside of the pad so just the good stuff makes it to your ears and you hear a more natural sound out of your headphone.

Hybrid 

The hybrid model features the best of all of Dekoni’s materials.  On the outside is soft and isolating Sheepskin while on your face you feel the breathable and ultra-soft velour.  Where the sound passes inside the ear pad Dekoni has placed their Fenestrated Sheepskin.  The Fenestrated sheepskin has carefully place holes so as to give the listener a neutral sound. It doesn’t soak up too much or allow too many reflections to pass into your ears providing you with a rich, natural listening experience.
